Congratulation to our long term partner NatureSweet® for receiving the 2013 Produce Marketing Association (PMA) Impact Award for their Cherriots™ tomatoes. Together, Direct Pack and NatureSweet specifically designed the Cherriots packaging for on-the-go convenience and eye-catching merchandising. The packaging features three pre-portioned servings of micro-tomatoes which can easily be separated and brought to go.
The PMA Impact Award recognizes excellence in packaging, where participants receive a score based upon areas of excellence in marketing, sustainability, consumer convenience, food safety, and supply chain efficiency/functionality. Finalists exhibited their packaging innovations at the PMA Fresh Summit Convention & Expo in New Orleans in October.
