We are happy to announce that the use of BOTTLEBOX® containers keep increasing, and we are saving more bottles from landfills and the ocean. In 2017, we used a total of 850 million recycled plastic bottles, which is 15% more than the year before. Since 2011, when we started measuring the amount of recycled plastic we use in manufacturing, we have used 3.6 billion bottles. If you would put those bottles end-to-end, they would reach all they way to the moon and back, and get another 1/4 of the way out again!
More importantly, the use of BOTTLEBOX® containers have helped reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 97 million pounds of CO2. That is the same as taking 10,100 cars off the road for a year. Watch our short video to learn more!
